Maintenance Fitter

Job Description

We are currently on the hunt for a Maintenance Fitter who lives, breathes, and drives continuous improvement to maximise efficiencies within our Kingsgrove site. This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday from 6:00AM to 2:30PM with Rostered Day Off entitlements (once per month)!

You are a skilled fitter by trade with a high level of mechanical aptitude to service our equipment and machinery, proactively lead preventive maintenance activities and manage breakdowns. You are focused on safety, quality, and attentive to the environmental and standard operating procedures in place.

For this role as a Maintenance Fitter, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • You are a fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Technician
  • You hold experience with repairs, breakdowns, servicing, and preventive maintenance activities
  • Previous maintenance experience within a FMCG environment will be highly regarded
  • Understanding of GMP
  • You are proficient with computer systems, including MS Excel, and preventative maintenance systems, such as MEX
  • You are physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting
  • It is highly regarded if you hold your forklift license – if not, we will provide training!
  • A respectful team player with a positive, can-do attitude!
