Job Description

Primary goals and objectives

  • Work closely with the Ecommerce Controller to deliver our online executional strategy across our top 4 retailers.
  • Drive profitable growth, both for JDE and our Top 4 retailers, to help grow our online share ahead of instore.
  • Plan, develop and deliver an online Joint Business Plan across our Top 4 retailers.
  • Collaborate with Top 4 retailers to help optimise their product listings and overall online presence.
  • Thought leader in our online value creation story and the delivery of our roadmap for online grocery.
  • First point of contact to our customers as the go to expert in online strategy and execution.
  • Ownership of our online executional plans aligned and complimentary to instore executional plans.
  • Responsible for measurement of our online media activity to ensure we deliver a strong ROI.
  • Work alongside Digital Marketing and agencies (Havas) to execute sponsored search to drive visibility & sales.   
  • Ownership of CASA KPIs across Top 4 Accounts to ensure we deliver the basics in online execution.

Qualifications

Required Experience and competencies

  • Graduate caliber
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within FMCG account management
  • Online account management experience necessary
  • Able to demonstrate self-starter / entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience in unlocking new relationships / partnerships
  • Good relationship building skills
  • Able to build their network and can engage others through clear communication
  • Experience in the delivery of a JBP
  • Knowledge of retailer systems such as DH
  • Be mobile and willing to travel.
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint
  • Right to live and work in the UK

Over the next 5 years, online sales are forecasted to become the largest contributor of growth to both the category and to JDE. At JDE we are clear on how we unlock this opportunity and as result have created a new role within the business to help implement our online strategy within our grocery channel. As our Online National Account Manager, you will be responsible for helping bring this strategy to life for our Top 4 retailers online, as well as working in parallel with our account teams to execute a fully omnichannel approach with our customers.

Reporting to the Ecommerce Controller, you will primarily be part of the Ecommerce Team, which forms part of the wider Sales function. You will also work closely with our Top 4 customer teams to ensure we align both the online and in store customer strategy.
